God’s Redemptive Plan Through One Family
Genesis 11:26–14:24
Abraham’s story begins with God calling him out of Ur, promising to bless him, make his name great, and form a nation through his family. Despite Sarah’s barrenness and the uncertainty of a new land, Abraham responds in faith, building altars and trusting God’s guidance. In Canaan, conflict with Lot reveals Abraham’s generosity, while God reaffirms His covenant. When Lot is captured, Abraham courageously rescues him, demonstrating God’s protection over the chosen family. Through Abraham, God launches His redemptive plan—one family set apart to bring blessing, hope, and ultimately salvation to the world.
