Giants, fallen angels, or something far closer to home?
In this episode….
Who were the Nephilim? Giants? Fallen angels? Legendary warriors? Few passages in Scripture have stirred more fascination — or more debate — than the mysterious opening verses of Genesis 6. In this episode we slow down over the text itself, the ancient Jewish traditions that grew up around it, and the three main interpretations Christians have held across the centuries. But the deeper we look, the clearer it becomes that the Nephilim were never meant to be the centre of the story. They sit within a far bigger picture: a world sliding into corruption, violence, and rebellion as the flood draws near. Beyond the mystery lies a sobering message about the spread of sin — and a grieving God who refuses to abandon His creation. For even here, in one of Scripture’s darkest chapters, one man finds favour, and the thread of hope runs on toward Christ.
